Guys, i'm looking for a synth (preferably freeware...) that can make the sort of sounds heard in Kalmah's dance of the water intro or another fine example is Nightwish - come cover me.

Any Epiano patch - try Crystal > TC Bank # 2 > Poly E Piano
+
Any good Delay or Reverb

Harder:
Pad underneath:
Try Oatmeal , Evol, Crystal
+
Eq, Reverb & Phaser

ps For that pad sound you can try to tweak Voyager > Ann Bank #1> Lost Pad #37 preset

To get fatter and less digital sound, double or even quad track (detune each take few cents and change some other parameters like lfo period or filter resonance), put it through a cab sim (mda combo) and tube saturation sim (TLs Saturated Driver > #2 Warming).
