TAB Thread.

I'm sure they will be different... And I'm also sure that everything we tab out for All Twisted and most of the other songs is anyway wrong or with wrong finger positions. ;)
Don't understand me wrong, but whenever we think a tab is really accurate, an original backing track pops out or Alexi proves us wrong with one of his bad guitar lessons.

We need some live material!

...I will listen to DBR repair tomorrow and start with WOS!

Just play the F from the 10th fret instead of the open F.

Yep I agree, having the Young Guitar/Total Guitar stuff is great to have but we usually have to wait a few months after the album is released.

Whatever... I still have some problems with that part because I'm not sure about the chords. I listened to that bar again for 5 minutes and here are my problems:
I can't hear - as much as I listen to it - the f in the f-chord and there's no root g in the g-chord but a high g.
So it should be played like this

Edit: Oh, and does somebody know what kind of effect Janne's using for the leads under the chorus and that other lead stuff (not the solo)? It's not his typical sawtooth plug in. I noticed that also in the other songs . It seems to be some athmospheric/crystal pad or something

For lead I think the same or similar one that he used on Follow The Reaper (album, maybe in Mask Of Sanity)

I believe it to be more accurate. The 7th note in bar 1 is an F, not E. And I don't hear the G at the 12th fret either, playing that on the guitar it's way to high.

Yes, I hear that minor third to fourth "shuffle",too.
 
Arcane, in TDAN tab on bar 175 of the left guitar you have an accidental "tied note" that carries from bar 145 on to 175, just to let you know :D

Yeah I figured out the issue, I made the tab in TuxGuitar (it's a free guitar pro) and I tried converting to a guitar pro file and thought that'd work. Apparently I was wrong and it will still only open with TuxGuitar. With the issues my computer was having I deleted dropbox so if you still want me to send you the tab PM me your email and I'll send it in a bit, you'll need TuxGuitar too I guess

Good to know it worked. If anyone doing tabs need some help, keys, bass, guitars, drums or anything just tell me and i'll be glad to help :).

And when every tab is done i'll make some backing tracks!

EDIT: I think that the key part from all twisted (Bars 46-62) sounds better with FX5 Brightness.

Hmm that's a shame. So it means that to have a Guitar Pro file it'd need to be completely rewritten?? :cry:

Uhm... I have some problems with that. First one is that the 7th not is really an E (just listen to that short part slow. you can clearly hear that it's a differnce between the 7th note in the first bar and the 1st note in the second bar. ). The 7th note in the second bar is a G#, not an A.
The chords sound good (instead of the 2nd one in the 2nd bar where I can definitely hear a high g) but have you tried playing what you've tabbed clean? That's a pain in the ass!
But I wouldn't change anything again in the tab because we can't really tell whats right or wrong without any live material...

The notes were indeed wrong but what you've tabbed is wrong too. I listend to it again and think that it's now spot on.

I still have some problems with some other key parts though. I'm not really sure about bars 30-31 and in bar 85 the A chord.

I just listened to it again, it's 100% an F note 8th fret when comparing it to the 1st note of the 2nd bar...they're exactly the same. I still hear everything the way I tabbed it so I won't bother with this tab anymore. I can play it pretty easily tbh and it makes the most sense to me based on what I hear and the way the chords are layed out but you're right we need to see it live. This is why I didn't want to tab this song because this intro riff is difficult to get perfect as there are so many different options, it's a nightmare!!!

GPX is guitar pro 6 format.

It downloaded allright, but when I open it there is an error. I had this problem with many of older tabs, untill someone uploaded different versions.

So if anyone could change format to gpx, or at last gp4 - to try something different, I'd be very grateful.
