"Sweden's TAD MOROSE have been confirmed as direct support for German power metallers EDGUY at B.B. King's in New York City on September 15. Both bands will also be performing at the ProgPower USA V festival in Atlanta, GA on September 18. As previously reported, EDGUY will play a headlining show at Club Soda in Montreal, Quebec on September 16 and at the Key Club in Hollywood, California on September 19. Mexican dates will take place after the Los Angeles show."

Clammy I don't know how close you are to those cities. I hate to say it, but I know European geography better than Canadian geography. :ill: Cool bands though, both Edguy and Tad Morose are pretty high quality imports.

Well, Montreal is about 1.5 hour's drive from here... L.A. is about a 7 hour flight form here, heheheh...

Are Tad Morose playing with Edguy in Montreal?

Cheers!

That is what the link said.... I guess. Tad Morose isn't "everbody's" favorite band here, but many here enjoy their stuff. They kicked my ass completely as well as Fang's and Winter's (one of our new members.) I posted my ass off about them in other threads because I think they are just one of those bands that oldschoolers will enjoy.

Clammy, as you know, we all have different tastes and I can't guarantee you will like anything I suggest, but there is no recent CD I could suggest more to an olschooler any higher than "Modus Vivendi" by Tad Morose. As a bassist, I think you will enjoy Anders and as a metalhead you will also enjoy the vocalist Urban Breed. Hell he was born to be in show business because that is his real name.

Should I look to see if they are playing Seattle or Portland?
What are the odds of that?! Sept. 19th?! In L.A.?! Lucky fuckers....
So you going Clam?!

I'll have to see. Sept. 16 is a Thursday, and I would have to work the next day, so I'll check out some of Edguy and Tad Morose's music. If I like it, I'll go. I don;t mind getting no sleep a going to work due to going to a concert (did that with Slayer last month), but I have to be a fan of the band(s) to do that! ;)

Cheers!

Cool. JonnyD is the big Edguy fan here. He can probably recommend their best stuff. Me and Fang are the Tad Morose nuts here. I recommend "Modus Vivendi" which is Tad Morose's new one. As a Cpt. in the Tad Morose army it is my job to recruit new soldiers. :D
In all seriousness, I missed Edguy two years ago in Atlanta at PPIII (I was at PPII and PPIV) but supposedly Edguy is honestly one of the most entertaining live bands out there.

I hope Tad Morose kicks your ass as hard as it has mine. I realize I have been a bit "extreme" with my posts about this band, but if they didn't kick my ass so hard I wouldn't have been that way. They may not give you quite the same effect as they did to me, but they are a good band and I wouldn't want you to miss them. The same goes for Edguy.
