i dont really have much explanation for the issues that have been brought up. i will just say this...
1. i spent a lot of time making sure the bass was balanced. any system with a sub should reveal this. the low end is very clear. perhaps i didnt get the cross over balance correct, but thats what bass and treble knobs on stereo's are for i guess
2. i like the guitars on this, and yes its something new.
3. everything leaks, why does everyone act so surprised when it happens? it isnt my fault, and it isnt the band's fault. every label uses another company to make the cd's and put it onto digital sites. the middle man in those situations leak the shit.

5. i am trying new stuff on every project i do. so if you really really like what i did in the past and believe there's nothing better, you're just gonna have to hold on to those old albums because i dont plan on repeating the same mix for a while.

I personally think its your best guitars
and I think the low end sits perfectly, took me a while to get used to it and now I actually prefer it. I can honestly say that (IMO) this EP will reset some production standards for bands that are similar genre wise. but thats all a matter of my personal opinion
I totally agree with you and i understand your perspective and i have to say that im very excited to hear your new mixes.
As i said, i love your work and maybe a went wrong saying that tdwp album is weak just because is different from last mixes you've done. Once one get accustomed to the mix its great.

Sounds a lot different to your other productions.
Shame it's so crushed, I'd like to be able to hear the tails on the drums more.
Quite like this mix though in all honesty though, very refreshing to hear something this drastically different to your other work.
Edit: And also there have been quite a few bands that have done the zombie schtick. A lot of death metal acts with themes to do with zombies and zombie apocalypses. Nothing comes to mind when it comes to mainstream music though.

i love all the sound effects and samples they accent the music well, as opposed to most bands who just pause and play a soundclip from a movie. It gives it a cinematic feel, and im glad they are heavier than ever i wasnt feeling the last album. i look forward to hearing more of your new projects joey.
