Group A has highly unimpressive teams. Mexico is pretty overrated, Uruguay has Eguren in their squad which reeks of suck, South Africa could never make it through a qualification and France suffers from the second suckiest coach in the entire World Cup.

My predictions:
South Africa - Mexico will be a draw, likely 0-0 or 1-1.
France will beat Uruguay without being impressive, likely 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1.

Senegal did the tournament of their lives in 2002 though, everything went their way Uruguay have two class strikers, nothing more I'm expecting France to make a rather poor performance but still at least draw Uruguay. Likely the 1-0 win I was talking about though.

It's a highly unpredictable group though. Very few logics apply since France has a sucky ass coach, South Africa home support, Uruguay a super uneven team and Mexico is a big dunno.

yeah, home team advantage bullshit. france have offensive problems for sure though, no real striker. henry is 74 years old and benzema doesn't hold up. hopefully anelka can score otherwise they're in big trouble. ribery and malouda are first class offensive midfielders though. they should pull through the group despite how gay domenech is.
