TesseracT - Nocturne / REAL DRUM mix (video)

Hey guys ! Did a cover of nocturne by TesseracT, there a few mistakes but it was really pleasant to mix a real drumkit for once.
After 2 years of "training" on superior drummer, it's cool to see what I can (or can't) achieve on a real drum kit, with all the issues due to mic bleed, poor gear etc... Far from perfect but, the entire processing was a lot of fun

Hey clems6belio,

hard to talk about the "whole" thing, since this is 90 % drums
I really like your snare sound though (and how you do the metal-horns while pushing your headphones into place at 2:16). I personally like a more crips hihat and a bit more bite on the bassdrum (more "kick" or "click" or how you want to call it). Did you use OHs or did you just mic your cymbals closely?

My ears is becoming tired of VST drums and this things is like fresh air to them
