Dude I like it. Would like to see the guitars a bit higher in the mix...they seem to sometimes get lost but overall pretty damn good. Dig the riff too....Let's hear more!!

Yeah, I had them higher but thought they were too loud...Maybe a slight bump....Ill give that a go!!...Thanks for the input man...have a few more riffs for this so Ill piece this shit together and see how it turns out...

I like the guitar sound. The drums sound weird as hell, weird compression and/or gating I assume? Maybe it's my computer. Anyway, I like the guitar sound what did you use?

Guitarport for guitars and bass (as usual)

I bought that Voxengo Marquis compressor and maybe got a little "carried away" with the compression....

You went overboard with the compression on the drums. The guitars also can stand to be a bit louder.

Yeah, I know...lol......

The GP patch was the stock preset much too heavy or somethin like that, with the gain turned down a bit. 3 tracks. Left, right and center. The right side was untouched, left side lost some lows and some highs and the center guitar is all mids...high pass around 150, low pass around 2-3 k leaving just mids. I pushed the mids up around 3-4db, really gives it some bite..

I really dig the guitar tone. It has this Meshuggah-ish coldness that I really like. For some reason I am unable to get it from the POD XT ... The sounds are always too gritty or fizzy. Yours sounds quite round, yet still edgy. Very nice!
