Testament - Down For Life Cover (The Gathering) Anyone wanna do vocals on this?

So i've been trying to get the Testament - The Gathering guitar tone down.
I think I almost nailed it.

Only problemn is that im mixing through really shit headphones (My Monitors are broken )

I need some mix advice on this mix.

Also, I need vocals for this. so if anyone want to do vocals feel free to do so

Fuck man I recalled when I did this song live with one of my earlier bands. When the drums kicked in the crowd just went nuts. Just an awesome live song.

Anyway
You got the second riffing part wrong. Eric isn't play the chords progression up everytime, it should be one up, one down etc. Hard to explain but listen to the actual song and you'll hear it.
The guitars are overly gainy and compressed. Doesn't sound real to me.

Other than that great performance and overall mix sounds neat!

Yeah I can imagine the crowd going crazy. This is one brutal song.
Thinking of doing this live too.

Will less gain on the guitars sort out the over compressed issue? or should i ease up on the compressor too?

Will probably hear these issues when i get my monitors back though.

I was recorded with passive pickups.. thats probably why.

Any suggestion on tightening up those guitars?

I also used alot of gain on those guitars. will less gain make it sound better?
