Testament question...

I was so very excited when Demonic was released. I'd had Low for about a year and it was (still is) one of my all time favourite albums.
When I finally got Demonic (Christmas pressy from Grandparents ;)) I was quite disappointed. :( It was my first foray into that stlye of vocals and I didn't like it. :( Although I did like the music and the 2 songs with more normal vocals Hatred Rise and John Doe - both of which really rock. :headbang:

Fast forward a few years and I am able to fully appreciate it for what it is. It's awesomely heavy and the songs are very well written. It's a shame they were missing James Murphy (or any lead guitarist for that matter) for that album, because his soloing could have added a new demension to most of the songs - which would have made it a classic.

I got Demonic, it was the first Testament cd i got,i loved it it,still do,then i got Low and was pissed off,but i like that now to, then i got the gathering and it's just to fuckin cool.

Is The Gathering cookie monster vocals?

Like Low, is a mix between the 2. Leaning more towards constant cookie monster.

Down For Life is my favourite Testament song at the moment however.:)

That doesnt sound too bad..... :)

Don't have Demonic , only the Best Of as I was a bit unsure of the band but was pleasantly surprised. But I'am from the old school of Metal no cookie monster vocals are more favoured , but their a good band.

Gee a few buts in this post.
