When I came to this board, I was most (nearly only) into the music of Katatonia. Of course, otherwise I wouldn't be here. 
But what I want to say is, since I'm here I discovered many great, talented bands, I didn't noticed before. The people here, seem to have a very good musical taste beside Katatonia.
Opeth, Anathema, October Tide, Rapture, The Loveless, Daylight Dies,...
Sure, for some people it seems annoying when newer members ask for music, thats similar to Katatonia again and again. Everybody here knows, there's nothing really compareable to them.
I just want to thank the people here, who opened my mind somehow with very good suggestions "where" to find excellent music.
