Is this where they're getting all of the Morbid Angel comparisons? I've only heard a little bit of Morbid Angel (I saw a video of one of their live performances on the Much Music show LOUD).

Either way...it's a killer guitar!

Yeah it's a heavy and cool doom type riff... and yeah I think it's good and stuff... but man, the song should have ended with "here." The first time I listened to the album I thought the heavy bit was For Absent Friends (I wasn't watching the tracks on my CD player) as it just seemed so completely out of place... and then i started wondering why the instrumental track was so boring and unremarkable.

Still, you can't satisfy everyone I guess. It's one of those things that will grow on me because the rest of the track is so sexual.
