Does anyone no how to get that.....

Two Examples are in "Say Goodbye" - I Killed the Prom Queen and "Chelsea Smile"-Bring me the Horizon,

So its obviously some kind of Pitch Correction and Time stretch, but how do you do it as a Varible Slope in ProTools.

Protools has the Pitch and time Shifting but you can only do an entire Region.

Any ideas?

^ that, but requires automation to work, but I can't think of any daws that are shite enough not to have useable automation.

That sounded good. Thats exactly what i needed.

I saw the Youtube of Glitch. Thats cool, but i'll be using that for some other stuff that i needed help with anyway.

Ferox is a tape saturation simulator which is pretty fuckin' cool on the two bus and it has a tape speed attribute you can automate for the effect. Run it at 50% and then you can automate faster or slower. It can really add a good deal of punch and its free.

anybody know of a way to do this in logic?
i've used a couple plugins in the past, but it was choppy.

any logic users care to share their ways?

I applied it to the master bus and turned automation read on (I'm using sonar) , waited for the right time and pressed the button :) It's pretty easy to use once you get a feel for how it works and how to change the parameters to suit your song.

could you explain better that?
i´m new in this...
thanks a lot dude

I've never used nuendo, but wack the plugin on the master bus insert. There are buttons for up and down, turn them on and off untill you get the right direction (stop or start). At the bottom is the control for speed of stop or start, i cant remember which is which but right click to change one, left click to change the other.

Ok... so now you have the right speed and direction, so go to the part of the song you want it on, and click the play button a couple of times to get used to the timing involved. Then when you have it nailed, turn your automation on (I don't know how to do this in nuendo) and record the automation of you pressing the button, and it should have worked.

In other words, just play around with the settings and when you've got it right, automate the big on/off/play button :)

Does that help?
