Hey Kristian,

I decided to give the Death solo a try. It's way beyond my level, but at least I'm figuring out a few things on the run (and it is fun). For example, there's a (slided + string skipped?) D#m arpeggio at the 5:07 mark whose starting-note, D#, is 3 semitones above a 24-band C# tuned Ibanez guitar.
So I wonder: Was Riders recorded in E aswell as C# tuning?

Cheers,
Jacob.

Hmmm...now that you mention it, yes I think I recorded some of the solos on the E guitar.
Or rather: I re-strung it with lighter strings and changed the tuning on my only good-sounding pII I had at the time ;)

Having all those PIIs must be really stressful. Why don't I help ease the pain?

Having all those PIIs...

Oh, you mean these?

Hmm, quite a bit of wear and tear on the "pickguard" sections of those sanded ones. I really envy the body shape, it spits on normal RG's. They went out of production 10 years ago, right?
