the new katatonia is absolutely fantastic, a tremendous album for them...everyone in the band was on point.

and kudos for locomotive, "lay me down gently" and "mr armageddon" are phenominal tracks....as well as fresh maggots in rotation. both very classic and criminally overlooked albums, even in their genres' fan groups (due to rarity most likely).

comus was a very unique progressive folk band from the UK in the early 70s. they did 2 albums, their first being the undisputed better album, an absolute classic, which was very dark, eerie, and beautiful...an aquired taste due to a lot of querks and unusual composition and structure, but a very wholesome and classic band once you do aquire the taste. this is the band that coined the phrase "my arms your hearse" which Opeth would later use for their album title...along with the phrase "baying of the hounds" and so on. essential for any progressive, or folk fan.
