Finland seems like a fascinating nation. I think if I were to go to Tuska I would have to take a few extra days to check out some of the country, including Heidi.

Yeah, I agree. It wasn't an easy decision to not go, but one that had to happen. We were going to spend 8 days in Finland, then 7 days in Sweden, then another 3 days in Finland, with separate 2-day trips to Denmark & Russia. Would've been nice, but just ain't happenin'.

I actually think Twisted Tower Dire have a good shot at winning some fans over a la Wolf perhaps at the recent BW&BK fest?

Ok then, well, in that case I'll have to say Thyrfing. Their brand of Viking Metal will be quite unique at the festival, and it is a style that Thyrfing plays extremely well. The combination of those two elements I believe will lead to Thyrfing's performance being one of the most memorable at the festival.

I'm definitely jealous of ya'll, I've been meaning to make a European vacation sometime soon, maybe I'll go next summer to catch Wacken 2004.
