Wacken Open Air 2003

Well, before I go to bed I'd like to tell a little story...

When we left Wacken, I brought Mocika to the train station in Hannover.
Because Mocika had time till the train would leave, we went for a little sightseeing tour. Just when we got out of the train station, Mocika noticed this church:

So we went up to the church and did a little sightseeing... cool church...

@Mocika, I was right it is a gothic church... found some info :)

Yay, WACKEEEEEEEEN! :D

I was there for the second time this year, and it kicked major ass! I met my fellow clanmate, Pouet, who I met here on UM :)
The best shows in my opinion were In Flames, Thyrfing, Annihilator, Testament, Rage, Sonata Arctica, Sentenced and Circle II Circle. I skipped 'Die Apokalyptischen Reiter' because I know I'll be seeing them on the SummerBreeze Festival in 2 weeks hehe :p

Does anyone go there? Maybe someone wants to meet a bearded german woodsman? :p

I made some giant post with pics on the 'chat' board, if someone wants to see... here you go http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1875285#post1875285

:headbang:

lol pretty much everyone kicked their butt. They started off 20 minutes late, they didnt say a word to the fans apart from "The next song's gonna be..." (2x) and "Thank you all for coming.. thank you for everything" and one "Goodbye"
The music wasnt bad, but if I want that, I can listen to it at home, have a good seat, and not stand in a smelly crowd. I want a fucking show ffs...
Immortal did that last year, but there it was funny ;)
Didnt say a word, only before the last song they said "Yeah Wacken, see you in Hell, or somewhere!", played the song and walked off :D

I'm back! Hope you others are getting or got back HellSpawn, were the hell were you btw?? We all kept watching out for you without success....I think I only saw you once on that screen in the middle of the two main stages (if you had been in the front rows during Soilwork?).
was looking for all of you everytime i was backstage, did not camp in the backstage camp, but never saw any of u... :\
and yeah! I was at the front at Soilwork!

and where the hell were u ppl under Thyrfing... did not see u before or after the show... i was standing allmost at the front...

yeeah well! i had a great time!

and Testament was no doubt one of the greatest this year! damn Steve! you are crazy with that bass!! :OMG:

Hey Hellspawn, we have been at Thyrfing's show and usually one of us was in the backstage area as well... not all at the same time, but we went to see different bands...
I think this year Wacken were much more people then usually would be, it was much harder to find anyone there.

And I agree with you about Steve :D

Mmmmh...i know i ehmmm shouldn't be saying this....but...what's the point with Testament???? I mean...well I suppose is about tastes (again)

This year I didn't attend wacken but I think the bandlist was indeed worse than the previous years...don't you think???

oh! and  to everybody that still remembers me :)
oh! and  to those who don't :)
