DAATH, from Atlanta, Georgia.. .i'm here mixing these guys self-recorded 2nd album, The Hinderers.

the band and i thought it might be a cool idea to let you hear the finished mixes of the album's closing song and title track and one of the heavier tracks, so i've loaded them into the public folder of my iDisk, which anyone can access at: http://homepage.mac.com/jamesfmurphy/FileSharing2.html

both songs are good, so check them out.. this is what i've been up to lately besides recording for the death tribute and the roadrunner 25th anniversary project.

the files are .m4a encoded, rather than .mp3, since .m4a's sound better to me. you will need either iTunes or a recent version of Winamp to play them.

iTunes for both Mac and PC is available for free download here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

DAMN that's mean, Killer work on both you and the band's part... Really Nice! er, um I mean.. Really Bad Ass!

Hi James, my first post here (even though I lurk in the Chris Broderick forum and the Jag Panzer forum). Since you mentioned the Death tribute album, I have to ask, "What's the deal with that?" I heard about this and I think it sounds like a killer idea!

These guys rock! Thanks for sharing the songs! They are now in HEAVY rotation in my iPod... Any release date for the CD? Are these guys signed or is it independant?
