Recently i've been in a rampage of getting new bands to listen to, these are the results:

Solitude Aeturnus - Heavy Doom Metal a la Black Sabbath
Maudlin of the Well - Doom Astral band, check this band out!
In The Woods - uh... black screams, ethereal sounds, claustrophobic environment... extreme.
Katatonia - Gothic doom metal
Suicidal Tendencies - Punk and Metal.

:headbang:

Some good medieval/Viking metal (check AudioGalaxy)

Enid (excellent)
Nerthus
Vanitas
Hrossharsgrani

I would also go with Severed Savior as xenophobe mentioned (also an old friends band.....), along with some other bay area death metal, Psypheria, Mucus Membrane, and Osmium.

Dill, I keep "discovering" different Iniquity albums...

I own:

Five Between they Eyes
Grime (May 2002)

I just bought:

The Hidden Lore (off ebay)

And I bought one that I haven't received (I was ripped off I assume)

Serenadium (been over a month)

Any other albums I'm missing?

Have you heard 'Grime' by Iniquity yet? Gob-smacking album, really intense.
As for the banner - no problem at all! It doesn't take me long to knock out images like that... I was thinking of trying to pimp myself out on the Self-promotion forum... hehehe... 'Anyone want a sig image? Apply within...' thread or something. :D

I'd like to recommend Lee Hazlewood. I think I've talked about him several times before and I think some of his stuff is superb. He kind of made a small revolution in my taste of music and his music has made such a big impact on me that he's actually one of the only artists that I look for records by now. I used to look for a lot of 70's funk, but mr. Hazlewood really opened my eyes to other music than the music that's just built on energy or groove (which metal is kind of too). He doesn't make metal at all though, so if you only like metal skip this post. He released his first album "Trouble is a lonesome town" in 1963 and it was kind of country, but his songs soon became more pop-like. Not like "It's my party and I cry if I want to" and shit, but pop in the beatiful way. Of the 7 records I have by him I think his best is "Forty".
Some of his stuff is uptempo country shit that sucks, but some of his stuff is simply beatifull and songs of his that I can recommend is:
"Wait and see"
"Forget Marie"
"What's more I don't need her"
"The night before"
"Paris Bells"
"Bye Babe"
"Friday's child"
"For one moment"
"Your sweet love"
"My autumn's done come"
"Won't you tell your dreams"
"Come on home to me"
"Rosacoke Street"
"Lady Bird" (with Nancy Sinatra - The version Virgil Warner & Suzi Jane Hokom did is much, much better)
"Summer wine" (with Nancy Sinatra - The version Virgil Warner & Suzi Jane Hokom did is much, much better)
"Sundown" (with Nancy Sinatra)
"Some velvet morning" (with Nancy Sinatra who sings out of tune)
"Sand" (with Nancy Sinatra - He also did a version with Suzi Jane Hokom)
"I've been down so long (It looks up to me)" (with Nancy Sinatra)
"Poet, fool or bum" (his only uptempo track that I like)

If you think his name is familiar it might be because he wrote the song "These boots are made for walking" (perfomed by Nancy Sinatra), but don't let that scare you. I think this is a crap song too. This is amongst his bad songs. Check the songs out above if you like music less hard than metal. By the way, if you want to download his songs, people often misspell his name, so try Hazlewood or Hazelwood.
