The best doom album since The Silent Enigma

I know it sounds stupid, but I play like crap with drop tunings. It feels too easy and I don't know what to do with the rest of my fingers, so I end up fucking it up. I think I'm a savant.

I have to use standard tuning, even if I have to change the strings to make the bridge float evenly. That's why I have 5 guitars, each in different tunings, each with different string gauges. I need one or two more for some flat tunings and I'll be set.

Yeah I use those more than normal power chords too when i drop, which is most of the time... fun one to do is something like

7
5
4

Theres probably a name for that sort of chord, but fuck if i know.

My favorite chord:

7
5
3

Play it anywhere on the fretboard and it just has this sense of BIG to it. It's two power chords at the same time, fifths apart from each other.

It's like a Dsus5 or some shit like that. Fuck it. I call it "The Sonic Bludgeoner".

A good example of it is "Restless Oblivion" by Anathema.

The silent enigma kinda sucked, so if you consider that a good album, pretty much every doom album after it has been the best doom album since the silent enigma

Paramaecium is christian death doom.

Who gives a fuck what the lyrical content is though, Exhumed of the Earth is in my top 3 death/doom albums of all time.
