I love a good piano... i use the concert piano included in the edirol orchestral package for now, but im growing tired of it.. sounds a bit fake and not key heavy enough.. and very one sided as well...

Been hearing about the one of east west.. but east west products dont seem to go along with my computer and nuendo..

does anyone have some experience with piano softsynths, and what would you recommend??

Cheers and thanks in advance!

Synthogy Ivory is the best for me, without a doubt. I've experimented with the Bosendorfer 290 plugin too, and it's much too dark for many uses, and isn't all too versatile. Ivory sounds amazing, and is definitely the most flexible one on the market today, IMHO.

how about The Grand ? from steinberg i believe. that's like the ultimate thing.

Not a fan. As far as the Gigastudio stuff is concerned, I've tried a few different piano sets via that system, and a few sounded pretty rockin, and a couple didn't. None of them really had the kind of versatility and overall "wow"-factor that Ivory has, though.
