I know there's lots of guitarists on this board, so I decided to make this thread. Here's how it works: I'll post a clip and a tab of a short riff. The first person who adequately records it and posts it gets to make up their own short riff and post the tab, and then others try to play it and so on.

Thanks man, I only used Audacity to record this because it's quick and easy. When I'm trying to make a good sounding recording I use Cubase.

Sounded a bit sloppy to me, but good effort. I'm topping out at around 130bpm for the second lick (the pentatonic thingy from bars 1-4). I'm determined to get to 160 though.

On GP "Export BMP" would work fine. And probably exporting it as an mp3 for cubase would work best.

i got the gp but im not seeing mp3 for cubase, just OMF, Midi, Audio Mixdown, Selected Tracks, and tempo track

Yeah you go to audio mixdown.
