*sigh* These crazy people. Half of them don't even know what they're talking about, so I'll clarify, even though they probably aren't active on this forum anymore.

CoB is not death metal. It cannot be categorized comfortably because it emulates elements from many different styles of extreme metal.
Death IS a death metal band, including their music from "Human" on. They may have become more technical and progressive, but it is STILL death metal.
Slayer is a THRASH band. Sepultura is more widely recognized as a THRASH band, though they use death metal elements.

Take note of this before you get into a debate about DM.
