The Black Stymphalian new track in full! Inc/ETD Final and Guest Sneapster on Vox!

i am jalous you get such a sound all by yourself ;)

it sounds really good. very well produced, the mix, the synths, the guitars... and like i told you on Msn I like this filthy bass!!!

and Greg really owns the other vocalist...

Erm well im afraid I have to hang my head in shame and admit I wrote the lyrics and melodies and im a total noob at it so forgive my amatureness! lol

i never wrote any lyrics at all to be honest.
i find it hard to express things with words, at least with metal music.

i think your lyrics are pretty good.

Same here, I wrote about 3 or 4 sets and mixed and matched for the best I could do. Starting to get the hang of it for the next song at least :)

And thanks guys for the comments! :kickass:

I would just love to hear what comes from a combination of both you and Jaymz when it comes to tones, especially with the Krank and the Mesa, I really like the tones that both of you get, so yes I'm quite excited :D.

Sweetness dude, nice to finally hear the full version of "Where the Strong Become Weak", and it's sounding bitchin' - did you re-record the guitars with your Mesa cab, btw? If so, congrats on making them not sound like they belong in 1985! :D Bass is definitely a bit too loud though, otherwise sweet! And great vox Greg! (though they're perhaps a tad too loud). Ooh, great solo, awesome playing, though there's a couple of questionable notes (as far as key goes) that slip in there...I dig the overall idea though!

Remind me again what synths you used for this tune, btw?

And I assume that's still Revalver on "Embrace the Decay"? Sounds good, though since I listened to/critiqued about 6 different versions of this song awhile ago, I think I'll let someone else do it this time :D

ETD is 6505 and Dual Recto, WTSBW is all Dual through my Framus cab. I like to spice up the solo's with some Marty Friedman style notes, you get used to it ;) Synth wise it was Spectrasonics atmosphere for the intro and Albino & East West Silver or the orch parts. I might bring the bass down a migies pubic stubble.

No critique for ETD needed, as you said ive remixed it like 6 times haha, ive finally put the lid on that one!

Thanks for listening Marcus! :D

Kickass! As you already know, I love what you did with WTSBW. Sounds fucking fantastic!

This is the first time I've heard Embrace The Decay. Another great song, man! Good work indeed! Love the samples at the end, too.

Thanks again for letting me be a part of your work! :kickass:
