This is really kind of random, as it is becoming late and I'm at that dead tired/don't want to go to sleep stage, but I was just listening to The Chaos Path by Arcturus, and wondered if anyone else thought it was as interesting and brilliant as I do.

The Chaos Path is the best song from LMI. But, Arcturus's best song ever would undoubtedly be For to an End Yet Again. That song is brilliant in every way imaginable. What an epic Journey indeed. I got into Arcturus thanks to posters on this bb, and The Sham Mirrors has become one the favorite albums I have ever heard in all my years as a metall listener. And Ive heard a lot. A truly amazing album. Are they still together or did I hear correctly they called it quits after this release?

Yeh that song is amazing... the singing style is damn cool, very emotive.

This Post-Black Metal stuff is cool, but a lot of bands are doing it now... I hope Traditional Black Metal doesn't disappear...

Yeah...I'm not sure which I like more. I'd actually probably lean toward For To End... I am compeltely addicted to The Sham Mirrors. As for breaking up, I have no idea.

I already had L.A from when you brought your hard drive over. I listened to the tracks right after you suggested them. Pretty good, although I need to hear them a few more times to fully comprehend what's taking place.

It's good music, and I enjoyed it, but I need to get to know the songs better and concentrate a little harder on them!

The song that I mentioned is amazing. Something to do with the Black Mask... I can't remember the title. It's got an awesome keyboard intro.
