Yeah. Tarkin got a bad rap from Pallaeon for his hubris, but the dude was always one of my favorite characters in ANH. And you have to be awesome to be a Grand Moff.

almost done with the first Bane novel, i put it down for a while because i kept stopping (don't think i was in a reading mood) but i got going and haven't put it down for a while, almost done with it now. amazing book.

yeah, path of destruction is one of my favorite SW books ever. Second only to Thrawn trilogy, probably.

I'll have to reread I, Jedi, but I loved that book. Probably now after Allegiance which is of course after the Thrawn trilogy.
Haven't read I, Jedi, but I've heard a lot of good things. It's definitely on my to-read list. Stackpole seems to be pretty good from what I've read of his.

I don't know what else I've read from Stackpole, but I, Jedi is a must read. I remember it having an interesting insight into the different strengths of Jedi in the New Order.

Favorite place at Disney World. Then you get off the ride and walk into the biggest SW toy store EVAH. It's beautiful, really.
Boy, the most recent episode was just SILLY. Also, I'm on 4th book of NJO series. It's gotten much better, with different authors.

im so pissed, my manager brought in a box of old stuff he couldn't keep. most of it was Disney stuff from when he used to work for them. but he had three hardcover star wars novels by Timothy Zahn, i didn't get a good look at them but there were Empire-Era novels and looked good but he had promised to sell the entire box to one of my employees who likes Disney stuff.
it sucks that would have been a good deal and kept me busy for a while
