Be still, O wand'rer!
Axl Rose has lost his voice - granted, but I'll take a GnR presence over the drawn out manufactured nu-metal bands that seem to have plagued this nation recently.
GnR ignite 'something' that has been missing from the music scene since Nirvana graced the stage - hence everyone's obvious excitment at seeing them perform. Will Korn or P.O.D be able to do this ten years down the line? I think not.
I'm not sure how we can complain...after all, this is MTV we're talking about, and GnR were never underground to begin with.
I thought the new song sounded really intriguing, and Buckethead was astounding - can't wait for the new album.
