I think the guitar part is draggin a little bit or something... When I listen to this version it feels like the riff should be a little ahead of this beat.

But I haven't listed to The Cult in a long time.

its funny I never heard the song before so I pulled up an mp3 of it and the tempo is dead on to the original, maybe it just feels slow but it isn't

I laid a Click track on top of the original. after Dreamcatcher's comment, maybe Kazrog meant dragging, but I didn't take it that way. I agree it has a slight dragging feel, but I believe it's the way I phrased the guitar part.

when I really don't know a part (haven't played it a lot), I have a tendency to rush, so maybe I overcompensated this time.

Yeah I had a little fun with the 2 buss, I was trying to EQ it like the original. I figured if you wanted vocal tracks you'd want unprocessed waves anyway so I was just messing around with the mix
