A new face for forever
I cease to care what appearence she dons
I wonder in vein to prevent her rebirth
Searching for the ultimate weapon
Cannot begin to mutter rites
Of the ancient times long lost
Nor the rituals to bring about her end

I don't think I should look to the rising sun anymore
For its promises are cold and withered
Far beyond what it should have been
Far beyond the age of time
So forever
Must it thrive?
She mocks my mortality in such ways
Reducing her meaning,
Her divinity in my mind

I search for my end
But find only beginings
Wondering lost on Midgard
In hopes I shall find what I need to prevent.....
Nothing is more painful to me.....
I am all but gone
I continue, however
For another reason than just "forever"

And what truths would I find in "never"?
None, I bargain
What faiths could pervent me from getting lost?
What Gods to serve challenge to?
To breathe their divine air
Or to seize the apples and burn the tree?
Forever.....such a word is absurd
With a meaning never to be comperhend by us mortals
