I do not live on a Darkened Path
To Hell I shall not go
Speak evil of me
Speak of my difference
I do not care

To the lions with you all
And savor your own blood
Spirits of the Burning Past arise
Revenge is Desired
I'm avenger of the wrongfully slain
Reaper of the true sinner

The fragments of my own religion
Are forever lost among the ruins of time
Even my ancestors' tongue is deranged
All because of your Cross's greed for mass gain
And a dead Son's weak legacy
I'm a warrior of the Northern Gods
I live on their Path of Honor

My Gods are not demons as you have portrayed them
Nor are they myths
They give me what your "God" denied me:
Reason to be, Reason to live, Reason to thrive
One day, another religion will displace yours
And your God will be the myth, demonized
And the lions shall cease to be hungry once more

Remember all those you accused as unholy, sinners
Remember those whom you reduced and lain to die
All the faults you found in them...in us...remember...
'Cause your turn is soon
And the same will be done to you!

poet's note: yeah, I know, not all Christians are bad, I'm talking about the cloes-minded ones in this poem...so don't going ripping on me!
