...for the record, I used to watch some Belgian movies on this Israeli channel late at night, when they would show movies from all over Europe,
and I actually liked some that I've seen...
There is a rough/realistic quality to them... I also loved Irish movies
Man, I miss that channel.

1) peasant's epics
2) romantizations of socially propelled labourers

And those that aren't, are good films, but not suited for non-European audiences, I think.

attention, that channel shows foreign movies all day, but the late night ones are the best. I can't wait to be back there for a month and get my 'dose'
