for me cardigans are a good option when you want to wear a t shirt and don't want anything underneath in the cold, in case it might get hot, and you want something to keep you warm but you dont want a bulky sweater or a hoodie.

not sure if that made sense because I'm drunk, but those are the situations I rock I cardigan in. A little extra warmth with not too much bulk in situation where you might get hot and want to take it off and be in a t shirt. Plus you can fold a cardigan up nicely and it's small enough to fit in a fanny pack.

not that I wear fanny pack's just saying it's more practical than tying a hoodie around hour waist like an extra from a pearl jam video.

It's just a little light sweater with buttons or zipper that goes on top if your clothes.
I have tones of those. I love 'em.
