The new album takes a while to grow on you (well it did for me at least) but I really like it now. Its not as rocking as the first and has alot more queenish moments to it, but it still kicks arse.

The new album is pretty shit to be honest.

It has no catchy numbers like the last one, where almost every song was catchy as fuck. The new one is bland,straight out rock.

I just bought the album today, and am listening to the first song now. Not as good as Black Shuck by any means.

Edit: I listened to the whole thing, and it seems distinctly average. I hope it's a grower....

I havent really heard it that much on the radio but the new single will be Is it just me. Not sure if its released as yet. The other single was the title track.

As much as i wanted the album to be go0d . and have given it a lot of chances to impress me, its is just average, so average that i could not listen to any more than about 3 songs at a time.

I can see what the problem is now, they have tried to make the album sound epic, by using too many different insturments and sounds. They have tried to make themself bigger and better than they are.

It could have worked if the songs were good, but there is nothing epic or classic about any of them, they are all very average and a total jumble of different styles. The title track is probally the best but it is nowhere near as good as any of the songs on permission to land. neither are any of the songs on the album


im still hanging for the concert though.

An oldie but a goodie!

I listened to the album again in the car today. It was better on the second listen. One of the later songs sounded a fair bit like Status Quo.

Status Quo are touring with Deep Purple in May.
