The death of MixPod.com?

So, now that it seems that mixpod.com has abandoned the URL-linking, what will you guys use instead? I know there's playlist.com, but they are us only. And I really want to avoid hosting my own flashplayer. The URL pasting was so much easier.

Yeah.. I was shattered about this! I just set up our website the other day with the sexy mixpod running and BAM... Url linking goes dead :S

works great on my site and my bands and you can customise the colour of the players "play" button and waveform as well as upload artwork. Music plays in whatever format you upload it, so no need to worry about quality.

They were thinking about making the player downloadable so that you could host it all yourself. That would be ideal.

came across this post while searching for answers myself. It looks like if you fill out the form here:

They will enable your account for adding URLs. I guess people were abusing it. I filled it out last night and I already got my account back to normal. Hope this helps someone.
