A few notes:
Morningrise was my favourite album for over a year and MAYH, which I've actually had longer, just eclipsed it now. I'm not really sure why.

The cover photo of Morningrise inspired me to get into photography. Does anyone know where that is?

Best Song is too hard, there's just too many. I'm not sure how I allowed "Advent", "Credence", and "Harvest" to remain off of the list, but...

I'm not really into the rating thing...my mind changes constantly. I can't believe how many people put Orchid last on the list. Shame, shame.

I don't think that it is our right to judge Opeth albums. OK, of course we are fans and i'm sure that Opeth has opened a new, unheard and tragical page in all our lives.
But... Every Opeth album has a different and brutal features in it. They are all have produced by some special & soul-made organs of Opeth and i'm sure even sometimes they don't know where it comes from. That is why they used the expressions 'captured on tape...' & 'rehearsed by...' on the inlay card of
My Arms, Your Hearse.
In my opinion, Opeth is where the words lose their scents & where they return. So their rehearsals shouldn't be judged
AS LONG AS they reflect WHAT REALLY THEIR MOOD IS. And if one day they feel & make us feel that they can't succeed to reflect their mood, i'm sure they disappear, out to never...

You what would be really cool? If Koch released an anthology of all of Opeth's albums thus far - like a boxed set. That would be great =) hah, I dunno why I just said that - speaking of albums, I guess. Cya!

Well i think the same it is hard to think what you like better but each cd is very dif.
but well i dont realy know.. i never realy listen to one song.. (other than 'demon of the fall') but if i do put opeth on i listen to the full cd. not just 1 or 2 songs

PERFECTION WITNESSED IN BROOKLYN

Man, absolutely amazing! I've seen these guys enough to know that nobody touches this band at this point in time. What an amazing performance along with killer sound. Thank you Opeth!

I got the chance to chat with Mikael on the steps of the tour bus after the show and I would like to say he is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. If any of you guys get the chance to chat with him about music it can be very cool. Thanks Mike!
