Thoughts?
Did joey do this production or Adam?
Tone to me sounds like a real amp, but with a twist of sturgis? i think hes doing fx / synths maybe a lil mixing too?

Adam is mixing and tracking the band
Joey is doing fx and synths

Thats atleast what joey said the last time :).

EDIT: meh, have never been a fan of Adams mixes and this one sadly does not change anything :/

I think it's pretty funny how all of "those" bands are actually maturing into adults and obviously growing out of their scene music/image.

so much more metalcore now. like not bullshit crabcore 'metalcore' like attack attack.. REAL metalcore... well my interpretaion of it anyway

Music fucking RULES, not into the production.

*Edit* guitar tone is pretty cool and the bass sounds HUGE solo'd, but there's not the usual 'dark' atmosphere I'm used to while listening to this band. Too dry I think.

Song sounds rad and I dig the production of it, but I have to say that I feel like I have heard this As I Lay Dying song before.

At first when I heard the guitar part I was like 'that's not the actual tone they're using is it?', but then realised it was some effect.

LOVING that snare reverb. And also, did I hear some Oli Sykes on this? (around 1:50)

i fucking love it. super creative production.... i can feel the vibe that house gave them..... SICKKKKKKK.

def major label radio sounding but in a really cool fucking way. PROPS to Prada and Joey!!!

Does the vocalist always sound that bad? I actually like the production. The different snares in different parts particularly are cool.

If your referring to the screamer than yeah, he's always been the worst one in the band. I don't know why they don't get rid of him, I love tdwp but really he's awful.

Listening on computer speakers the guitars sound really crunchy and I'm not really a fan of that, Like the music though definitely an improvement from roots and zombie, maybe it will sound better to me on real speakers.

Edit:

Ew listening on my actual speakers, whole mix sounds really washed out like there's almost too much reverb maybe that has to do with adam d's whole 6 inch mic placment thing i don't know, also doesn't really seem to have much power, chorus sounds good but the the main vocals and the overall mix seem to be lacking balls, kick sounds kinda weak too and the snare sounds like a dick smacking a newspaper or what I would imagine that would sound like anyway :)

Edit to the edit: lol at quoting myself didn't mean to do that fml fml fml
