I have no idea how much praise it's received, so I can't speak to whether or not it's overrated. However, I've spun it twice in the last two days. I found it solid, but ultimately not worthy of purchase.
ah, the internet warrior. bravely charging forth on his black linux steed (macs are for posers, of course) to wage eternal warfare on the unwashed hordes of posers who dare stand in his path. eternally vigilant for posers, he wastes not the smallest opportunity to unsheath his poser-slaying scimitar of mighty l33tness and hack left and right at the inkling of poseresque thought which dares perturb his perfect tranquility of ultimate warriordom. his power is mighty, posers, for he knows that with a mere glance from his steely gaze he can melt the will to live from the most foolhardy of posers. fear him! run in terror, posers! for he is the great, he is the allmighty, he is the all-powerful, all-knowing uber-l33t INTERNET WARRIOR!
...and he only plays SNES and refuses to wash his hair. He also is into the art of photography. Why does everyone with a fucking camera think they're a photographer?
i don't have internet (i was sitting at a hamburger joint with wlan, bravely wasting 12 hours while waiting for a flight) and i used windows 7 for this post
and the rest of the post i didn't read but this band sucks shit and if you can't take that folks of other opinions might post in your threads then don't post your threads bro (although you know what? i appreciate that at least someone's talking about music on this board)
the devil's blood is one of the worst examples of hype machine bullshit i've seen for ages. somehow everyone cares about a SUPER-CHEESY, mediocre band of plastic 70's worshippers just because they have ties to the black metal scene and sing about potions and satan? why do the black metal kids (this does not necessarily apply to you) who like this shit not have anything by ACTUAL 70's OCCULT ROCK bands in their collection? HYPE HYPE HYPE, all image no content, no one will remember this band in 2 years, mark my words
the thing is this: i like my music genuine, and this is one of the POSIEST (in the word's true meaning) bands i have ever seen. it just reeks of dishonesty
