THE DIANA-MORRISSEY PHENOMENON

August 31, 1978:
19 year-old Steven Morrissey first meets guitarist Johnny Marr,
the one who will launch Morrissey's career several years later
by aggressively enlisting him to co-found a band: The Smiths.

August 31, 1997:
19 years to-the-day since Morrissey met guitarist Johnny Marr,
Princess Diana is killed under circumstances foreshadowed

It is certainly more than "coincidence" when all the compelling correlations between
Morrissey's work and Princess Diana's death are concentrated in such fitting places:

1. The Smiths album that announces a royal death.
2. The final Smiths compilation before Diana's death.
3. Morrissey's duet with "a harbinger of death".
4. The final Morrissey single before Diana's death.

Clues to Diana's death are found throughout the album that announces a royal death:

The title

The cover

The etching on the vinyl edition of the album

The introduction: "TAKE ME BACK TO DEAR OLD BLIGHTY"

Song 1 - THE QUEEN IS DEAD

Song 2 - FRANKLY, MR. SHANKLY

Song 3 - I KNOW IT'S OVER

Song 4 - NEVER HAD NO ONE EVER

Song 5 - CEMETRY GATES

Song 6 - BIGMOUTH STRIKES AGAIN

Song 7 - THE BOY WITH THE THORN IN HIS SIDE

Song 8 - VICAR IN A TUTU

Song 9 - THERE IS A LIGHT THAT NEVER GOES OUT

Song 10 - SOME GIRLS ARE BIGGER THAN OTHERS

The surprise ending ("Send me the pillow") that foreshadows

the final Smiths compilation before Princess Diana's death.

For his only duet before Princess Diana's death

Morrissey partners with "a harbinger of death".

In the summer that Diana will die, the most exact clue arrives

on the final Morrissey single before Princess Diana's death.

These prophetic correlations to Diana's death are affirmed by:

Morrissey's published reaction to the death of Princess Diana.

UPDATES / ARTICLES

For dinner this evening I'm keeping it simple and eating cold roast pork sandwiches from the leftovers of last night. Will probably finish off the rest of the tiramisu as well.

I love it because it's like Thanksgiving leftovers before Thanksgiving...and everybody knows that making sandwiches from Thanksgiving leftovers >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Thanksgiving dinner.

I made up some dinner ahead of time just now, since I get home late, then I can just reheat it.

Teriyaki stir fry tofu, asparagus, red & yellow peppers with brown rice.

I will om nom nom.

I'll trade you some tiramisu for some of that om nom stirfry.

Tomorrow bring some Little Debbies and I'll bring some Mott's.

For lunch today I had a totally rad Caesar salad and a piece of pizza with feta, roasted red peppers, olives, and pepperoni. Solid lunch, 8/10.
