Me and a friend came across this while browsing through some vinyls yesterday.. quite funny, considering the band's history of borrowing titles and all... check for yourself. I say too close to be a coincidence

hmmmm you may be right but I don't see the problem. In music it is well known that artists refer to what was done in the past to bring it to another level. I prefer Opeth's logo by far.

May I add that Megadeth and Metallica's logos are pretty much the same...Megadeth owns.

its just a font type. I have a very similar font on my home PC.. no biggy at all.

Actually the font used for the "Shack" logo is called "Ruritania"...........i have the exact font on my computer..........download it if you would like at www.coolarchive.com

The "O" is a killer alternative if you cant find the Opeth "O"

April Ethereal are the best at stealing names. They have an album called Advent.

I don't think both logo's have something to do with each other. The Opeth logo is more 'forestial' imo. With the dragonflies etc..
