The DoD Cover Revealed

An interesting theory behind the cover. I hope it's true.

"I Cracked the the Code on the DOD Cover!
When the album is released, the CGI characters will be removed. What you will then see are six cloaked figures behind Eddie. On the back of the disc, you will see that the cloaked figures are acutally the band. The figures will be removing their hoods to expose their faces.

Why do I think this? Actually, people are starting to figure it out already on the BB. Notice that the character textures are different between the characters out in front with those cloaked figures in the back. They almost seem painted as opposed to CGI'd.

We're been played people!!!"

Well one thing I think is strange is that on the lastest uptaded of Iron Maiden newsletter named "Huge IRON MAIDEN Update" one can read this

Now I'm not giving you any fixed dates (yes, you'll just have to keep

Dance Of Death album artwork, giving you the very first look at the awesome

And why they've revealed the whole cover this week?

God I hope that is true, but if so, I still think it would be stupid of them to do this hoax, as it makes them look bad to people who see this cover thinking it is genuine. I still think this is just peoples wishful thinking, but I would be very happy to be proved wrong.

As for the VXI cover, I think it is awesome and the theme behind it is really clever.

I think Dance Of Death sounds cool. I don't think the word Dance in the title has any connotations to Dance music at all.

Spiff, I really dont like it, it LOOKS crap for a maiden cover and the theme sounds lame.

I guess they must mean like dance with death or something, I just think it sounds kinda lame.

I hope the music saves the day..nuff said.

I flat out dont like the look of that cover ok, its NOTHING like a maiden cover in my opinion.

Los4, I wasn't talking about the cover, I was talking about your concerns regarding the title.

Maybe we should wait to hear the title track before passing judgement. Taking things like an album title literally is a bit stupid.

Who knows - Dance of Death could be a reference to frying in the electric chair, cos the "last dance" is a reference to frying the electric chair, I think. Or maybe "last dance" is the final walk to the death chamber. Or maybe it's just the name of a movie starring Sharon Stone and Rob Morrow.
