I have worked with an adult population of mentally disabled and physically disabled individuals for 5.5 years.
I have an adopted sister and brother who are classified as having profound mental retardation (yes that word despite PC idiots is still an accepted term).

My friend had a similiar operation and it was funny at first but then I came used to it. And I think that video was not particularly funny, but a bit pathetic maybe and I don't know what is equivalent word in english but the finnish term "suolaus" came in mind from the networks side.

Yanks have a different humour than Aussies or Poms. It just might be that Slovanians have a different sense of humour that some of us are not used to. It is the WORLD WIDE WEB, and I think if we take a big breathe, sit down and use some common sense, we would see that. Hell, I couldnt even start to imagine what an Iraqis sense of humour would be like. But in the end, its all good, we talk , we show each other our different personalities and thats what makes this forum so interesting. Im half Aussie and half Croatian, and I find 99% of what people find funny, FUNNY! Thats me.
I like 99% of everyone on here, including Junior, for their wisdom and their personalities. I love the way Junior sticks up for himself, and love the way Dodo expresses himself and the way Jeff words his posts, and the way Marcus gets his points across with love and smiles, and the way James asserts himself, its all people from different ways of life, coming together to swap info, funny moments and the odd rumble here and there. I don't really care if he offended anybody, I think Gareths really finding excuses to have his sensibilities offended here to be honest. Although he has plenty of reasons to dislike him I must admit, I think the video is kind of sad, but its not really offensive, I just think you'd have to be pretty stupid to find it funny.
Which brings me to my next point, which is that I find Uncle Junior to be arrogantly stupid, and what I find about most arrogantly stupid people is their hostility towards other people who display more intelligence than they have, because they just don't know how to react to it or understand it, and of course basic human nature towards things that we don't understand is to either try to comprehend it or destroy it, which became apparent when he asked Jeff to tone it down, it just screams to me "I'm thick as shit, I don't want to try and understand you, why don't you join me on my level", hostile and lazy? Fuck that.

How about this:
Until this Uncle Junior character finally starts making some decent posts on this forum or contributing at least SOMETHING productive like the rest of us why not just boycott anything he posts by NOT RESPONDING TO IT OR GIVING ANY NOTICE. He may not leave despite the consistant requests and suggestions by others here but I feel like the next best thing just might be to act as though he doesn't exist until whoever he is decides to start being a sneapster and less of a parasite.

About the video: As many have pointed out, it's not real. You can tell it's not even a continous or live show because at some places when they switch cameras, people sit in different positions with their arms and such, which indicates the cameras were not all shooting at the same time... it's staged. Personally, I did find it funny as fucking hell first time I saw it, and that was only because of the fact that the show host is making a total ass out of himself. I also thought it was real the first time I saw it so it kind of contributed to the funny factor. Now that I know it isn't real, it just sucks.
I've seen some stuff on this forum that "should've" offended me too but I never made any issues about it... as far as I recall
