thought people on here would get a kick out of this. I teach at a Paul Green School of Rock in Chatham, NJ. A couple of months ago I had the honor of directing and choosing the setlist for the Classic Metal show the school was to perform. Among the songs I picked was I Want Out by Helloween, and one of the parents finally put this video up. Keep in mind these kids are between 10 and 13 (except for the lead guitarist, he was 16). The best part is that they all loved performing these songs, and its pretty cool seeing kids that young get excited when you tell them its time to rehearse the Helloween song ;).

if you search School of Rock Chatham you can find videos of some of the other songs from the show (I think The Trooper, Crystal Mountain, and Welcome Home are all up).

Paul Green School of Rock
You saw the Jack Black movie, now see THE REAL THING!

Before there ever was a School of Rock movie, Paul Green operated
The Paul Green School of Rock Music - a performance based, interactive music
school in Philadelphia (which has now grown to 29 locations nationally)
for kids 8 to 18 years old. The school proceeds from the belief that the best
way to learn to do almost anything is by doing it, and the school feels
that this is particularly true about music. Therefore, from the moment a
student joins a School of Rock, he or she is playing music; loud, with other
musicians on genuine equipment. Before long students are playing shows. These
are not your old fashioned "wait through fifty other kids mangling their
songs until your child's turn arrives" recitals, but real rock concerts at real
rock venues before real rock audiences complete with lightshows,
stagecraft and the occasional pyro.

The School of Rock All Stars represent the very best of what the
Paul Green School of Rock is all about. Comprised of the best, brightest, and
hardest working students from our various branches, the All-Stars have but one
mission: TOTAL ROCK DESTRUCTION

Each year The Paul Green School of Rock students plays over 500
concerts to more than 200,000 people. The All Stars have performed on stage
with such name-artists as Peter Frampton, Jon Anderson (from YES), Gibby
Haynes (from Butthole Surfers), Alice Cooper, Adrian Belew (of King Crimson),
John Wetton(of Asia, King Crimson), Jeff "Skunk" Baxter (of Steely Dan and The
Doobie Brothers), and more! SoR students can frequently be found jamming such
legendary venues as The Trocadero, The Knitting Factory, Cafe
DuNord, WOW Hall, The Big Easy, World Cafe Live, & BB King's in Times Square.

If the lead vocalist keeps it up, he could develop a really nice set of pipes by the time he's legal to play in bars. Not bad at all.

Stay metal. Never rust.

It's cool seeing the young-ins rock out, especially considering I am still sort of a young-in at 24, but the guys playing Crystal Mountain didn't sound all that good to my ears, considering me and my buddies back when I was 16/17 jammed out some death tunes, and I think we did better than they did, but hey, what ya gonna do to some critical ears like mine. The drummer was out of time on the transitions, the singers growling just didn't sound right to me, and the guitarists weren't quite in sync, and the whole band in general weren't quite in sync.
