humorous images, sexual scandals, books on gaffes... though funny, they have always been used to divert the public's attention from important political decisions that would affect the lives of everyone.
the biggest evidence against us presidents' stupidity is they successfully manage to keep people entertained through their supposed "mistakes" decreasing the level of awareness on politics.
for those who care, this is also a popular scam in my country, where leaders take care of the gullible public by feeding them with countless hilarious, clownish situations. on the background, however, they're still ruling this place.
that's why i'm not really interested in bush's skills in operating binoculars.
