And now I'm eating a Terry's (chocolate) Orange :D  (well, parts of it :p) Woooh, had to get someone to take it with him from England, but worth the trouble

NE: Orange right now, and had:
Two toast, one with omelet and one with nettle-cheese again :D

(I dont know, I just like to talk about food and all :))(Andd koekjes :)):)rolleyes: )

I read that last week :-o
Its weird :/ cos alcohol needs to be ..- processed? Taken care of?- by the liver and therefore, the glucose (sugars) are not as easily saved, so theyre transferred into fats. --> Beerbelly. So where did that idea come from in the first place? Cos fat men drink more beer? :p Sounds logical to me :p

NE: More koekjes:

well i could be the living example of this theory: likes to drink beer and has no beerbelly.
i think the beerbelly might come from the stuff you eat along beer drinking, like chips, popcorn, whatever.

same here, and i don't really like chips or popcorn that much... i couldn't eat more than a handful of each during a night. if i have to eat something with my drinks - in order to, say, avoid dying - i prefer to go with some ham or salami, as they somewhat (like hyena taught me long ago) reduce the effect of too much alcohol happily scurrying about in your stomach.
then again, it's hard to have an anything-belly when you weigh as little as i do. i often try to force myself to eat some more (of anything) as i would like to be perceivable even when i'm sideways.

i know, i have kinda the same issues. often i simply forget about eating. it's just so annoying :) food preparations, oh how i hate them. if i marry, my wife deffo needs to handle two things: banking/insurance crap, and cooking :)
