The great southern trendkill or Stomp 442

I have to say Stom by default - as I am an Anthrax fan first. But, Pantera blows my load everytime.

And Dime is a better Rhythem then Scott and a better lead then Dan, Paul, Rob, anybody who ever did leads for anthrax.

As a matter of fact a lot of my favorite bush era anthrax songs feature dime on lead. Go figure.

I am about to puke. Anyone that thinks stomp is better than a fucking genious masterpiece like TGSTK is fucked in the head. Floods, The Great Southern Trendkill, Suicide Note 1 and 2, how can you even compete with that shit? Give me a break. I love Anthrax as much as the next but for fucks sake you have got to me kidding me

agreed bro.... imo Stomp is one of the worst pieces of shit in Anthraxs discography and Trendkill is Pantera near its best.

So obviously.. definately Trendkill by light years

That's like comparing vacation in Hawaii or vacation in Aruba. A Mercedes or a BMW. A blonde Carolina Panthers cheerleader or a brunette.

They are both great f'n albums.

Hawaii, BMW, Brunette.

oh, and Stomp.

trendkill was a very good record, fbd was always gonna be tough to top but i think they went close.

Yeah FBD is my favorite Pantera album, but all Pantera record blow away Stomp. I think even Scotty Ian would agree with that

u would have to agree that pantera played edged music,2 diff types of bands,i always consider anthrax to be a watered down version of pantera ,especially on stomp record.

Really? I never saw it like that. Maybe more so on some of the songs on Vol. 8. Stomp has an excellent thrash / newer breed thrash hybrid sound.

Pantera always struck me as being really patchy - for every great track, there's another that leaves me stone cold.

You are nuts. There are a few weak songs on Cowboys but other than that almost every Pantera tune is fucking great. There are not very many weak 'patchy' songs on any album after Cowboys.

Who ever thinks Trendkill is their worst album you are on crack. The title track, Suicide note Pt 2, Sanblasted Skin, Floods, Underground in America, War Nerve.... fuck that entire album is amazing, go take the wax out of your ears and try again
