The Iron Maidens - question

I'd like to see The Iron Maidens put out original material along with the covers. Do The Iron Maidens foresee putting out an original Iron Maidenish type CD someday?

That's interesting. I know a Misfits tribute band here in San Fran where I live called Plan 9 that did an all original CD as if the Danzig Era Misfits never broke up.

While it sounds nice on paper - i don't think it would make financial sense in terms of all the time effort and cost put into it.

Same reason why classic rock bands put out a new album, it barely sells and when playing - people just want to hear the old stuff.

Nita, Liz, Heather and many others have been in other acts, I wonder how many here have purchased their music?

If you're really enterprising, you could license 1 track from all the members solo acts (including phantom blue) have a "music of the maidens" type CD (get legal permission first) and see how it sells.
