Get Down Among the Deadmen next. They have a new one coming out this year on Cruz del Sur. And they're touring Europe in a few weeks, but hey, we did get a HoM tour.

All these bands always do spot gigs in San Fran though.

"Eyes without life...sundered heads...piles of carcasses...these are pleasing words to me"; the favorite phrase of the great villain of this plot. Slough Feg is the old horned god, who refused to die after his seven year reign and has ever since eaten the eggs from the great worm to postpone his death for 20 000 years. Slough Feg has turned his cult towards a death cult and is now the leader of the Drunes, the worshipers of Crom-Cruach.

Dude sounds pretty kickass.

Let me clarify: I like The Bastard and Twilight of the Idols relatively equally, but TofI really gets me moving. It's bets moments are better than the Bastard's best, but the Bastard is obviously more consistent, being solid all the way through. I mean, I am a moron, but that has nothing to do with which Scalzi/Cobbett albums I prefer.
