The loudness/Akira takasaki thread!

its good to hear that young people appreciate bands like this.......if i remember correctly akira used rocktron and metaltronix , mr. Max Norman was the man behind the sound:worship:

Terry Illous called Stockholm the modern day sunset strip.
Seriously, 80's hair metal is HUGE in Sweden!

And no, the gear he mentioned didnt have anything to do with what i have heard before, which is why im so annoyed that i cant remember what he said!
I have pictures of his various live rigs lying around, and those are all based on Lee Jacksons stuff.. i remember talking to him about the Ampeg VL-1002 specifically, and that he loved it, but thats the only gear talk i remember(1 bottle of bacardi and ~15 beers fucks your memory up.).

A little late to the thread, but a big thumbs up from me - big Akira Takasaki and Loudness fan - always wanted one of those custom Killer guitars he used.

Still would love to have one.

That's a damned sexy beast.

Growing up in the 80s the ads for the ADA Stuff had Tommy Mclendon in them with a big purple Killer guitar. I used to think it said Hitler on the headstock till about 1992 ....lol

AHAHHAHAHAH ... Love google image search!

my favorite loudness song will always be this one!

the amount amount of badassery when that first riff comes in is unmatched.
