To be honest, I think that there's a much higher percentage of shit films made in the US, not to mention that every single US attempt at remaking any Asian horror films has failed horribly (Ringu, Ju-on, Dark Water, One Missed Call etc)

It's the same cocksucker who funded The Ring, Dark Water, The Echo, Shutter and The Grudge (AND MORE HIDEOUS REMAKES), though they still haven't obtained the rights to make the remake (as of last news update about it), which is good news, for now. That's the only thing holding back.
