fuck me ... I have not heard this song in ages ... one of the best Queensryche has written ... what fucking balls on this one. All that majestic, power, fuckin metal should be :kickass:

Some of the most well known songs on Mindcrime have been a little overdone, but you can't deny that every song is pretty much perfect. "I don't believe in love", the most commonly played, could have the intro of all intros, next to "Number of the Beast" of course.

It's such a strange album in that it's so exquisitely perfect in every possible way. I mean, you could rearrange some of the songs, change the track order, add a riff etc, and all you would be doing is lowering quality. It's an album that should be left unchanged. The sequel is not wanted -- it'll just turn out to be a "Crimson II".

Best song on mindcrime = ALL.

But if I had to pick one...."Spreading the Disease".

Agreed, especially with that latter statement. It's best taken as a whole, hard to pick individual songs that RAWK. But at the same time, all of the songs work really well as stand-alone bits of catchy heavy metal.

Revolution Calling for me, that's one of the definitive metal anthems of the 80s IMO. And Eyes of a Stranger is the perfect way to close the story, at least until someone had the brilliant idea to write a sequel because their career had tanked...
