The Most Headbang Worthy Albums

Alot of good ones have been mentioned;

Judas Priest- Defenders of the Faith
Meshuggah- Destroy.Erase.Improve
Carcass- Necroticism
Iced Earth- Stormrider, Dark Saga, Something Wicked...pretty much all of them

I dont know how you guys headbang to black metal :lol:

Pretty much. It's a shame what they've become though. I used to love Soilwork......then it went downhill when they released Natural Born Chaos.
Steelbath Suicide, The Chainheart Machine and A Predator's Portrait are some of the best melo-death albums ever released. Especially Chainheart.
Natural Born Chaos was decent, but after that, meh. Too generic, hardly any leads (and when they do have leads, it's not even anything special). At least the drum work always stayed good.

I think the lead work before Figure Number Five was great. Not really from Ola, but I love Peter's playing. He's not a super shredder, but he's got taste and a great sense of note selection, not to mention his tone <3. I'm looking forward to hearing what he and Warrel come up with.

maybe sounds a bit cheesy but i find the new Unearth album very good
headbang material
Not cheesy at all. That band is great and they're awesome dudes to boot. Only guys I've ever fought a pizza with, hahaha!

I absolutely love the lead on the title track from Chainheart Machine (probably my favorite song in the whole genre, along with Dark Tranquillity's Punish My Heaven).
The lead work at the end of the Egypt cover is actually really flashy.
